C?est une initiative de la mairie de N?Djaména qui s?inscrit dans le cadre du renforcement de son engagement en faveur du développement local et de l?économie de proximité

La commune de la ville de N?Djamena, à travers un arrêté du 14 janvier 2026 crée un marché hebdomadaire dénommé « Marché Nation », à la Place de la Nation, dans le quartier Bololo Dans la cité capitale.
Ledit marché, fait savoir la municipalité, aura pour objectifs, d?offrir un espace organisé de commercialisation aux commerçants et aux producteurs locaux ; dynamiser les activités économiques de proximité au c?ur de la capitale ; et de faciliter l?accès des populations à des produits locaux variés, dans un cadre structuré et sécurisé.
Pour la mairie de N?Djaména, au-delà de sa vocation commerciale, le « Marché Nation » traduit la volonté de la municipalité de faire des espaces publics des lieux de vie, d?échanges et de cohésion sociale, tout en contribuant à l?attractivité économique de la ville. « Une initiative au service du développement local, de la proximité et du rayonnement de la Ville de N?Djamena. »

Tchad : drogues, faux billets et boissons frelatées saisis et brulés à N?Djaména

Dans le cadre de la lutte contre la criminalité et le trafic illicite, des produits dangereux et impropres à la consommation estimés à plus de 100 millions de FCFA ont été saisis et incinérés.

La police a annoncé ce jeudi 15 janvier la saisine, d?un lot de 723 cartons de boissons alcoolisées frelatées, 690 plaquettes de diazépam, 1 330 plaquettes de tramadol 225 mg, 10 sachets de ?Colorado?, 38 blocs et 165 boulettes de cannabis, 15 500 comprimés d?Exol (Embazol), 540 plaquettes de prégabaline 300 mg, divers produits aphrodisiaques. Ainsi que 186 téléphones portables, des passeports et cartes nationales d?identité saisis, et une importante quantité de fausse monnaie, dont 217 coupures de 100 dollars, estimées à plus de 13 millions de francs CFA, pour un montant global évalué à 101 625 000 francs CFA.
Pour le procureur de la République Moussa Abdelkrim, qui a conduit l?opération : « nul ne saurait se soustraire à la loi lorsqu?il met en péril la santé publique, l?économie nationale et la sécurité des citoyens ». Il a rappelé que les auteurs, coauteurs et complices de ces actes seront systématiquement traqués, interpellés et traduits devant les juridictions compétentes afin de répondre de leurs actes devant la loi.
Au-delà de la destruction matérielle, la police martèle que, c?est un appel renouvelé à la vigilance citoyenne et à la coopération avec les forces de sécurité intérieure. Car face au fléau des drogues et des trafics illicites, l?État reste debout, résolu à protéger la société et à faire triompher la justice.

Le premier ministre, Allah Maye Halina, a reçu en audience le 14 janvier 2026, une délégation du Haut Conseil des chefferies traditionnelles du Tchad, conduite par son président, sa majesté Tamita Djidingar.

La délégation est venue présenter ses v?ux de nouvel an au premier ministre, réaffirmant ainsi son profond attachement aux institutions de la République et son engagement constant pour la paix et la cohésion nationale. À cette occasion, les échanges ont notamment porté sur les conflits récurrents entre agriculteurs et éleveurs. Les chefs traditionnels ont exprimé leurs vives préoccupations et plaidé pour des solutions durables permettant de préserver la coexistence pacifique entre les communautés.
Le premier ministre a salué le rôle fondamental joué par les chefferies traditionnelles dans la médiation sociale et la prévention des conflits. Il a réaffirmé la disponibilité du Gouvernement à travailler main dans la main avec les autorités traditionnelles pour promouvoir la paix, le dialogue et le vivre-ensemble sur l?ensemble du territoire national.
