Niger : les derniers militaires français ont quitté le pays


Les derniers des 1 500 soldats et aviateurs français basés au Niger ont quitté le pays vendredi matin, au terme d'un long bras de fer entre Paris et les autorités militaires de Niamey. Présente dans la région depuis 2013, la France avait déployé jusqu'à 5 500 hommes dans le cadre de l'opération antijihadiste Barkhane, en coopération avec les armées malienne, burkinabè et nigérienne.
