Tchad : la police expose 23 présumés malfrats

Le Commissariat central n°1 de Gardolet a servi de cadre, ce jeudi 12 février 2026 à une présentation officielle de vingt-trois présumés malfrats interpellés à la suite de plusieurs opérations coordonnées menées par les forces de sécurité intérieure.

La cérémonie a été conduite par le porte-parole de la police nationale par intérim, le commissaire principal Alio Hachim Alio, qui a salué l?engagement remarquable des unités opérationnelles ainsi que la précieuse collaboration de la population.
Le premier groupe est constitué de deux présumés braqueurs impliqués dans une attaque particulièrement violente ayant entraîné la mort d?une personne et la soustraction d?une somme estimée à cent soixante-trois millions. Ces mêmes individus sont également soupçonnés d?un braquage ciblé visant un coffre-fort. Leur arrestation a été rendue possible grâce à une coopération internationale efficace, aboutissant à leur interpellation sur le territoire camerounais avec l?appui d?INTERPOL.
Le deuxième groupe comprend deux individus spécialisés dans le trafic de drogues et de substances stupéfiantes. Selon les services d?enquête, ces derniers opéraient dans un réseau structuré de distribution illicite, alimentant divers circuits clandestins.
Le troisième groupe, le plus important, rassemble des individus impliqués dans diverses formes de vol, notamment le vol de motocyclettes et d?autres biens mobiliers. Les investigations menées à travers plusieurs commissariats ont permis de remonter et de récupérer des objets dérobés.
Prenant la parole, le Commissaire Principal Alio Hachim Alia exprimé la reconnaissance de la hiérarchie policière envers l?ensemble des forces engagées sur le terrain. Il a également tenu à remercier la population pour sa vigilance et sa coopération, éléments déterminants dans la réussite de ces opérations.
Les personnes présentées demeurent présumées innocentes jusqu?à l?issue des procédures judiciaires. Elles seront prochainement traduites devant les juridictions compétentes afin de répondre des faits qui leur sont reprochés, conformément aux dispositions légales en vigueur.

Tchad : le ministère du Tourisme confirme le décès du touriste français

Le ministère du Développement Touristique, a produit un autre communiqué ce 13 février pour annoncer que le corps sans vie de Paul Ferreri, de nationalité française, a été retrouvé vers 11 heures aux environs du campement touristique de Bachikele.

La dépouille du touriste de 70 ans a été retrouvée a à la suite d'intenses opérations de recherche engagées conjointement depuis deux jours par les autorités locales, les forces de défense et de sécurité, les services de renseignement et les communautés locales ; accompagné par un dispositif aérien, peut-on lire dans le communiqué.
« Le corps a été découvert dans une zone rocheuse et accidentée. » La partie tchadienne dit rester en lien étroit avec l'Ambassade de France au Tchad afin de coordonner l'ensemble de démarches liées au rapatriement du corps sur N'Djamena.
Le ministère présente ses sincères condoléances à la famille du défunt, à ses proches ainsi qu'à l'ensemble de ses compagnons, et leur exprime sa solidarité et son soutien.
Il est à rappeler que, le retraité de nationalité française est arrivé au Tchad dans le cadre du Festival International des Cultures Sahariennes (FICSA). Il est porté disparu le 11 février suite à une excursion en dehors du dispositif d'encadrement établi, dans la vallée de l'Arche de Joulia.
