Mauritania: EU gives US$ 438,000 to Malian refugees in Mauritania
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) ? The European Union (EU) has given the World Food Programme (WFP) 400,000 euros (about US$ 438,800) with which the European Commission on Civil Protection (ECHO) will provide humanitarian aid, including food assistance, to 50,000 Malian refugees accommodated in the Mbera camp in eastern Mauritania, the EU delegation in Nouakchott said on Tuesday.
