Mauritania: US welcomes release of rights activist in Mauritania
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) ? The US embassy in Mauritania has welcomed the release, on medical grounds, of Sow Djibi, the chairman of a civil society organization, arrested in November last year together with the leader of the Initiative for the Resurgence of the abolitionist movement (IRA), Birame Ould Dah Ould Abeid.
