Mauritania: Authorities prohibit rally of Mauritanian opposition movement
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) ? Administrative authorities here have banned a public rally of African Liberation Forces in Mauritania (FLAM), a former opposition movement in exile, but its defiant chair, Samba Thiam, insists that the rally will be held as originally scheduled on Friday and Saturday this week.
