Thousands of people attended the funeral Saturday of Algerian human rights activist Kamel Eddine Fekhar, whose death in pre-trial detention has prompted an investigation. Fekhar, a 54-year-old doctor, was a leading advocate for the Berber-speaking Mozabite minority.
