French aid agency sets US$ 5.8m aside to support start-ups in North Africa
Paris, France (PANA) - Proparco, a subsidiary of the French Development Agency (AFD) dedicated to the private sector, signed on Sunday in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt, a $ 5.8 million investment fund in the first closing of the Sawari Ventures North Africa Fund I to invest in 25 growing start-ups in Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia.
