Anti-slavery NGO denounces police clampdown on protesters
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - The Initiative for the Resurgence of the Abolitionist Movement (IRA or IRA-Mauritania), an anti-slavery NGO in Mauritania, has denounced what it called "a barbaric oppression by police officers against a sit-in group of militants resulting in injury to 9 people.
