ECONEC undertakes electoral follow-up mission to Guinea
Conakry, Guinea (PANA) - Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, President of the ECONEC governing board and Chairman of Nigeria?s Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), is leading an eight-member delegation on a Post-election Follow-up Mission (PEFM) to Guinea from Thursday, as part of election assessment and early warning strategy instituted by ECOWAS to track and address risk factors that could negatively impact the credibility and peaceful conduct of elections in member States.
