Financial institutions back support programmes for vulnerable populations
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - The British aid agency, the World Bank (WB) and the French Agency and Development (ADF) are backing the Mauritanian government for an innovative seasonal monetary transfer programme for families affected by disasters like drought called "Al Maouna Transfert," a joint World Bank/AFD declaration said on Wednesday.
