Car Bombing In Somalia Kills 10 People, Injures At Least 15

Extremist group Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for a deadly explosion that killed 10 people in Mogadishu, Somalia, CNN reported. In addition, approximately 15 people were injured at a security checkpoint in the capital city where the explosion took place. A vehicle was rigged with explosives and detonated about 150 meters from the presidential palace, Villa Somalia, said the report. Hours before the blast, Somalian Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khavre appointed his new Cabinet, the report said. The area was sealed off by Somali security as a large cloud of white smoke rose in the sky. Local ambulances responded to the attack, transporting the wounded to nearby hospitals in Mogadishu....
