Nigeria: ECOWAS leaders to visit Gambia on Wednesday to persuade Jammeh to quit
Abuja, Nigeria (PANA) ? Leaders of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) rose from a three-hour meeting in Nigeria?s capital, Abuja, on Monday resolving to send a powerful delegation to Gambia in two days' time in another diplomatic effort to persuade recalcitrant president Yahya Jammeh to hand over power to president-elect Adama Barrow.
