Nigeria: Rights group calls for halt in plans to demolish irregular structures in Lagos
Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - Human rights group Amnesty International is asking the authorities in Nigeria?s Lagos State to "immediately abandon" plans to demolish all irregular structures in waterfront communities across the state within the next three days, which would leave tens of thousands of people homeless and destitute.
