UN: UN envoy urges better protection for children affected by armed conflict in Somalia
New York, US (PANA) - Concluding a six-day visit to Somalia late Friday, UN Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict Leila Zerrougui called for better protection of children caught up in armed conflict and urged the country's authorities to treat former child soldiers as victims in need of protection rather than as criminals.
