Belgium: EU appoints new Operation Commander for EU NAVFOR Somalia
Brussels, Belgium (PANA) - The European Union's Political and Security Committee on 18 May 2016 appointed Brigadier Robert Magowan CBE, an officer from the British Royal Marines, as Operation Commander for the EU Naval Force Somalia - EU NAVFOR Operation Atalanta.
