Mali: Elephants in northern Mali face poachers, drought
Bamako, Mali (PANA) - Forty elephants have been killed by poachers since the political and security crisis began in Mali in 2012 while 28 baby calves died in 2015 in the northern Gourma-region, which is experiencing severe drought, the national Malian daily "L'Essor" reported on Monday.
