Japan Grants Unicef N750 Million for Emergency Interventions in North-East

[Independent (Lagos)] The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has received a grant of $3.4 million (about N750 million) from the Government of Japan for the provision of life-saving emergency interventions for vulnerable populations in the North-east of Nigeria. The grant will be used for interventions focused on the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and conflict-affected populations in the North-east of Nigeria in the areas of water, sanitation and hygiene, health, nutrition, child protection and education....
