Tanzania: Somalia's vital remittance pipelines risk being cut, NGOs warn
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (PANA) - Somalia's vital lifeline of around US$ 1.3 billion in annual remittances, representing 25-45 percent of the country?s GDP, is slowly being choked off in the US, UK and Australia, three international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) warned in a report unveiled Thursday.
