Sudan: Mass gathering of parties nominates Bashir for presidency
Khartoum, Sudan (PANA) - A mass of representatives of 40 political parties and organizations in addition to Sufi Sheikhs, workers, students, youth and women's associations on Sunday showed up at the offices of the National Elections Commission (NEC) in Khartoum's Friendship Hall to nominate President Omar Bashir to run for a new five-year presidency , SUNA news agency reported.
