UN: 'Sustained response to Somalia piracy requires effective State governance'
New York, US (PANA) - The UN Under Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Mr. Jeffrey Feltman on Wednesday said that a sustained long-term solution to combat piracy off the coast of Somalia must include the presence of effective Somali government and State institutions that provide basic services and alternative ways for people to make a living.
