Sudan: Security agents arrest activists to prevent commemoration of September uprising
Khartoum, Sudan (PANA) - Scores of political activists have been reportedly arrested by the Sudanese National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) in a campaign aimed at preventing commemoration of the first anniversary of wide-scale protests against fuel subsidy cuts, in Khartoum and other cities in central Sudan.
