Investigators headed to Air Algerie crash site; 118 reported dead
French investigators were en route to a remote area in eastern Mali after the wreckage of Air Algerie Flight 5017 was discovered late Thursday night, French officials said. French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius told reporters Friday that officials on the ground, including French military forces, had secured the crash site, located in a nearly inaccessible area near the border of Burkina Faso.
