UN: Officials express concern about Egyptian court's jailing of journalists
New York, US (PANA) - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Navi Pillay have expressed deep concern over a string of recent court decisions in Egypt, including heavy jail sentences handed down on Monday to three Al Jazeera journalists, as well as 11 other defendants who were tried in absentia.
