Mauritania: Opposition claims boycott of presidential election largely successful
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) ? The appeal for a boycott of the presidential poll in Mauritania was largely followed, according to leaders of the National Forum for Democracy and Unity (FNDU), an umbrella of political parties, trades unions and civil society organisaions.
