Mauritania: Political heavyweights boycott June presidential polls
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - Nearly all the political heavyweights, most of whom had unsuccessfully run for president in the past, say they will not participate in the forthcoming Mauritanian presidential elections, whose first round is scheduled for 21 June.
