Nigeria: Protesting polytechnic, education colleges teachers dispersed by police
Abuja, Nigeria (PANA) ? Members of the umbrella body of Nigeria?s polytechnic and education colleges, the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) and College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU), who staged a demonstration in Abuja on Tuesday to draw attention to their 11-month-old strike were tear-gas and dispersed by a detachment of the Nigerian Mobile Police.
