UN: Officials urge immediate end to attacks in Darfur
New York, US (PANA) - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ms. Navi Pillay, on Tuesday voiced deep concern about the escalation of violence and its impact on civilians in Sudan?s Darfur region, and urged an immediate halt to hostilities.
