Mauritania: Authorities adopt 29 measures to end slavery
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - The roadmap for the eradication of slavery, which the Mauritanian government adopted on 27 February, following a UN assessment mission on the illegal practice, will be carried out under 29 measures, the Mauritanian Minister of Justice, Sidi Ould Zeine, indicated here Thursday at the end of the nation's Council of ministers? meeting.
