Mauritania: Thousands demonstrate against desecration of the Koran
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - Thousands of Muslim faithfuls took the streets of Nouakchott Monday, to protest against ''a desecration'' of the Koran, the Muslim Holy Book, after finding some pages torn and scattered in a mosque here Sunday evening.
