Mauritania: Govt. adopts stringent policy against slavery
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) ? The Mauritanian government will adopt an official policy for the eradication of all forms of slavery in the country, the UN Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of slavery, Gulnara Shanian, said late Thursday at a press conference held at the end of her four-day assessment mission here.
