Mauritania: Opposition wants new electoral commission created
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - Claiming that the Mauritanian National Electoral Commission (CENI) failed in last year's municipal and legislative elections, the Coalition for a Peaceful Alternative (CPA), which includes three moderate opposition parties, Wednesday called for the appointment of a new electoral umpire in the country.
