Fragile states at the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30): We are being 'locked out' ...
COP30 President Andreacute; Correcirc;a do Lago has said this yearrsquo;s conference must put ldquo;people at the centrerdquo; of climate action. But a network of fragile states says more than one billion of the worldrsquo;s most at-risk people are still being left out of the conversation. In a statement released on Tuesday, the Improved and Equitable Access to Climate Finance Network (www.IEACF.net) said that countries affected by conflict and fragility are being ldquo;locked outrdquo; of funding to adapt to climate impacts.
