Paris rally denounces genocide in Sudan, UAE complicity
At the Champ de Mars in Paris, just beneath the Eiffel Tower, chants of Stop Genocide in Sudan echoed through the crowd. Hundreds gathered to condemn the atrocities committed by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary group accused of carrying out mass killings and forced displacements in Sudan, and to denounce the complicity of foreign powers, particularly the United Arab Emirates. The demonstration organized by Sudanese associations, such as 'Sound of Sudan', brought together members of the diaspora, activists and human rights defenders.
