FORMER WINNERS SQUEEZE THROUGH (Confédération Africaine de Football)
(Source: Confédération Africaine de Football) Five former winners got off their campaigns to winning starts whilst AS FAR of Morocco were held to a 2-2 draw in Rabat by visiting AS Real of Mali. Moroccan champions, Raja Athletic Club, were one of the biggest winners during the first leg matches of the preliminary round of the Orange CAF Champions League, whereas Nigeria's Enyimba, AS Vita Club of DR Congo, Asante Kotoko of Ghana and Egyptian giants Zamalek had to sweat for the much desired results.
