Mauritania: Man faces death sentence for apostasy
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - Twenty-eight-year-old Mauritanian Cheikh Ould Mohamed M?Kheitir has been arrested for publishing blasphemous statements about Prophet Mohamed in national websites, and could get the death penalty if convicted, judicial sources told PANA here Tuesday.
