Mauritanian ruling party wins majority seats in parliamentary runoff
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) - Mauritanian ruling Union for the Republic (UFR) won 22 new seats in the parliamentary runoff held in the country on Saturday to secure a majority of the seats in the 147-seat assembly, thanks to the 52 seats it won in the first round 23 Nov.
