Gold-production company sacks 293 workers in Mauritania
Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) ? Gold-production company, Tasiast Mauritania, announced here Sunday that it would sack 293 of its workforce because of the prevailing difficult economic situation and the decline in the price of gold on the international market.
