Sudan said on Tuesday it had transferred $335 million in compensation to US victims of militant attacks and their families as part of a deal to get itself removed from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. The announcement by Central Bank Governor Al Fatih Zainelabidine was made at a news conference in Khartoum and came just a day after US President Donald Trump tweeted that he intended to lift Sudan from the list.
