Failed coup attempt: AU Commission monitors situation in South Sudan

The safety and security of the civilian population in the South Sudanese capital, Juba, has become a matter of deep concern to the African Union (AU) Commission following an outbreak of fighting in the city on 15 December 2013, the Commission?s Chairperson, Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, said here Tuesday.
